This week, flat steel prices in the UAE domestic market have remained stable as compared to last week, while import offers to the country have softened by $5-10/mt over the same period. Meanwhile, a lull in demand continues to be observed in the market.
In the UAE domestic market, traders are still offering hot rolled coil (HRC) at $590-610/mt, cold rolled coil (CRC) at $700-720/mt, while their hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil prices are standing at $800-805/mt, all for deliveries to customers, for advanced payments and for October-November shipments.
On the other hand, HRC import offers from Russia and Ukraine to the UAE are now standing at $545-565/mt CFR Dubai, while their plate offers are at $575-580/mt CFR Dubai. Both prices, which exclude VAT, are for advance payment and for December shipments.
