SteelOrbis has learned that in the Polish steel market ex-Ukraine offers for S235JR quality hot rolled coil (HRC) are standing at the level of PLN 2,300/mt ($734/mt) CPT, while ex-Germany offers for the same material are at PLN 2,200/mt ($702/mt) CPT. Meanwhile, Slovakian mill USS Kosice is currently offering S236JR to the Polish steel market at the price level of PLN 2,000/mt ($638/mt) CPT.
