HRC export prices remain stable in Brazil

Brazilian producers remain negotiating HRC of the basic commercial grades for export at $620/mt, FOB conditions, a price now stable for six weeks, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

In June, Brazil exported 119,000 mt of HRC, in average at $725/mt, against 82,400 mt at $652/mt in May, both FOB conditions.

ArcelorMittal exported 89,400 mt at $633/mt, CSN exported 28,200 mt at $1,005/mt, and Usiminas exported 1,400 mt at $994/mt, all FOB conditions.

The main destinations were Latin America (64,800 mt), Portugal (27,700 mt) and Turkey (26,500 mt).
