Brazilian producers are now negotiating HRC of the basic commercial grades for export at $600/mt, FOB conditions, against a range of $590/mt to $600/mt last week, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

The source mentioned that the price should stabilize around this figure, more in line with international prices.

In December 2017, Arcelor Mittal exported HRC at $538/mt, CSN exported at $580/mt and Usiminas exported at $785/mt, all FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in October 2017.
