HRC export price sees slight increase in Brazil

Brazilian producers are reportedly negotiating HRC for export to non-US destinations at $590/mt, against a range of $580/mt to $590/mt last week, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

In April, ArcelorMittal exported 54,800 mt of HRC from Brazil at $510/mt, CSN exported 31,200 mt at $512/mt, and Usiminas exported 1,800 mt at $920/mt, different quality grades and price deals probably closed in February.
