Brazilian producers remain negotiating HRC for export at $570/mt, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades, the same price over the last four weeks, a local market source told SteelOrbis.

In June, Brazil exported 86,000 mt of HRC, in average at $519/mt, FOB conditions, with different quality grades and price deals probably closed in April. In May, Brazil exported 486,900 mt of HRC at $508/mt, a volume reflecting chiefly 373,900 mt exported by ArcelorMittal to Vietnam. Preliminary indications point to another decline in July for Brazilian HRC exports.
