Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC of the basic commercial grades for export at $600/mt, FOB conditions, a price stable over the last three weeks, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

In March, ArcelorMittal exported HRC at $573/mt, CSN at $656/mt and Usiminas at $657/mt, all FOB conditions with price deals probably closed in January. Price differences reflect chiefly quality grades and destinations, among other factors.

The main destinations were Latin America (57,500 mt), the EU (26,400 mt) and Turkey (16,100 mt).
