Brazilian producers are negotiating export HRC offers for the basic commercial grades at $590/mt, FOB conditions, the same price reference in four weeks, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

The source mentioned that prices are expected to increase in the short term, in line with international steel prices.

In December 2017, ArcelorMittal exported HRC at $538/mt, CSN exported at $580/mt and Usiminas exported at $785/mt, all FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in October 2017.
