Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC of the basic commercial grades for export at $580/mt, FOB conditions, against $550/mt since early November, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

The source mentioned that an increase was already expected by the market, to stay in line with international steel prices.

In November, with price deals probably closed in September, ArcelorMittal Tubarao exported HRC at $549/mt, CSN at $546/mt and Usiminas at $655/mt, all FOB conditions.
