Baosteel raises local HRC prices by $47/mt for June

Major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel has issued its prices for carbon steel flat products for delivery in June this year.

The producer has decided to raise its local base prices for hot rolled coil (HRC) by RMB 300/mt ($47/mt), while increasing its prices for steel plate, section steel, hot rolled pickled products by RMB 400/mt ($62/mt), RMB 500/mt ($78/mt), RMB 600/mt ($93/mt), respectively. In addition, the producer has hiked its local cold rolled coil (CRC) prices by as much as RMB 650/mt ($101/mt), while it has increased its hot dip galvanized (HDG) and electro-galvanized product prices by RMB 350/mt ($54/mt).
