Baosteel cuts local HRC prices by $15/mt for September

Major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel has issued its prices for carbon steel flat products for delivery in September this year.

For September, the producer has decided to decrease its local base prices for hot rolled coil (HRC) by RMB 100/mt ($15/mt), while it has cut its prices for steel plate by RMB 100/mt ($15/mt), and has decreased its prices for cold rolled coil (CRC), acid pickling plate, hot dip galvanized (HDG), electro-galvanized products and non-oriented silicon steel by RMB 200/mt ($30/mt), though reducing its prices for low and medium grade non-oriented silicon steel by RMB 300/mt ($45/mt). It has kept its pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) and oriented silicon steel prices stable for the given month.
