Major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel has issued its prices for carbon steel flat products for delivery in February this year.
The producer has decided to raise its local base prices for hot rolled coil (HRC), steel plate, cold rolled coil (CRC), electro-galvanized product and hot dip galvanized (HDG) by RMB 100/mt ($14.4/mt), while raising its prices for acid pickling plate, pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) and non-oriented silicon steel by RMB 50/mt ($7.2/mt), all for delivery in February.
