Major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel issued its prices for carbon steel flat products for delivery in June this year.
The producer has decided to cut its local base prices for hot rolled coil (HRC) by RMB 100/mt ($15/mt), at the same time decreasing its prices for acid pickling plate, cold rolled coil (CRC), electro-galvanized products, galvalume and non-grain-oriented silicon steel by RMB 100/mt ($15/mt) for June, while it has kept its prices for steel plate, hot dip galvanized (HDG), pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) and grain-oriented silicon steel stable for the given month.
