Major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel has issued its prices for carbon steel flat products for delivery in April this year.
The producer has decided to raise its local base prices for hot rolled coil (HRC) by RMB 300/mt ($46/mt), it also increased its prices for steel plate by RMB 300/mt ($46/mt), while raising its prices for section steel, hot rolled pickled product and cold rolled coil (CRC) by RMB 200/mt ($31/mt), RMB 150/mt ($23/mt) and RMB 100/mt ($15.5/mt), respectively. The producer has decided to keep its prices for hot dip galvanized (HDG) and electro-galvanized products stable for April.
