Major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel issued its prices for carbon steel flat products for delivery in January this year.
The producer has decided to raise its local base prices for hot rolled coil (HRC) by RMB 200/mt ($28.7/mt), while it has also increased its prices for steel plate, acid pickling plate, pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI), non-oriented silicon steel, cold rolled coil (CRC), hot dip galvanized (HDG) and electro-galvanized products by RMB 50/mt ($7.2/mt), RMB 150/mt ($21.6/mt), RMB 50/mt ($7.2/mt), RMB 150/mt ($21.6/mt), RMB 150/mt ($21.6/mt), RMB 150/mt ($21.6/mt) and by RMB 150/mt ($21.6/mt), respectively.
