Changzhou, Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steel producer Zhongtian Iron and Steel Group (Zhongtian Steel) has announced that it has successfully carried out a hot run test on its new continuous alloy slab caster No. 2.
The caster with a radius of 10 m can produce structural steel, common carbon steel and spring steel. The casting sections are 160 x160 mm and 180 x 180 mm.
