Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group announced that its subsidiary Xuanhua Steel has become the biggest supplier of XG08D2 grade steel strip researched and developed by Xuanhua Steel itself. The raw material in question is used in manufacturing of the flexible metal hose. The monthly supplied volume will reach at least 70,000 mt.
In addition, the XG08D2 grade steel volume Xuan Steel supplied accounted for 60 percent of the total demand in Jiangsu Province which is the largest domestic flexible metal hose production base.
