Xinyu Steel’s net profit up 119.88 percent in H1

Jiangxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Xinyu Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. issued its financial report for the first half this year, announcing that it registered an operating revenue of RMB 54.609 billion ($8.4 billion) in the given period, up 71.31 percent year on year, while posting a net profit of RMB 2.405 billion ($0.37 billion) for the given year, up 119.88 percent year on year.

Xinyu Iron and Steel Group has an annual capacity of crude steel of more than 10 million mt.
