VSP boosts exports by 46 percent

Indian steelmaker Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) increased its domestic sales 10 percent and exports 46 percent year on year in the first six months of the current fiscal year. In the first half of current fiscal year, the company saw sales grow 11 percent year on year to reach Rupees 37.37 billion ($842 million). During the same period, the company's domestic sales increased 10 percent year on year to Rupees 35.98 billion ($811 million), while exports increased 46 percent to Rupees 1.39 billion ($31 million).
