Volgorechensk Pipe Plant’s steel pipe output remains unchanged

In January-April of the current year, Russia-based Volgorechensk Pipe Plant, a subsidiary of giant Russian gas company Gazprom, maintained its steel pipe output unchanged compared to the same period of last year at the level of 51,800 mt, while steel pipe shipments increased by 6.2 percent year on year to 52,400 mt. Production and shipment of tubing decreased by 29 percent year on year to 14,200 mt, while production and shipment of casing increased by 2.1 times, to 26,600 mt. Production of pipes for general purposes increased by 1.7 times, to 11,100 mt, and shipments of this material went up by 1.8 times, to 11,300 mt.
