Vizag Steel Plant reports 45% increase in its October sales

According to recent news in the market, Indian steel producer Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) has reported a 45% increase in its October sales. Sales in October has been recorded as Rupees 6.5 billion ($144.6 million) against Rupees 4.5 billion ($99.3 million) recorded in October 2003. In October, VSP produced 332'040 tons of hot metal, 276'097 tons of liquid steel and 212'086 tons of saleable steel. A significant increase has been recorded in bar production with 70'732 tons.
