Vietnam to export iron ore to China in exchange for coal

Vietnamese sources report that the country's government has allowed Vietnam Steel Corporation to export iron ore to its Chinese partner in exchange for coking coal and metallurgical coke.

The iron ore intended for export to China will be mined at the Quy Sa mine, while the imported coking coal and metallurgical coke will be supplied to Vietnamese steel companies.
