Vallourec inks supply deal with Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe

France-based pipe manufacturer Vallourec has announced that it has signed a contract with Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe (MHPSE), the European subsidiary of Japan-based Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd (MHPS), to provide a full package of tubular requirements for its projects for building new blocks for coal-fired power plants in Turów, Poland and Ptolemais, Greece.
 
The package consists of at least 10,000 mt of boiler tubes which will mainly be produced in Vallourec’s Saint-Saulve tube mill (France), and will for the major part be delivered in the first half of the current year.
