US Steel sells 275 acres of land of South Works

United States Steel Corp has recently signed an agreement with Southworks Development LLC for the sale of 275 acres of land that are part of the former South Works steelmaking facility, located outside of Chicago. The deal is subject to approval of US Steel's board of directors. The terms of the agreement have not been revealed yet. US Steel officials stated that through the agreement, South Works will be more productive.
