US Steel not to submit offer for Dunafer

Pittsburgh based US Steel Corp. announced that it has decided not to submit an offer for the privatization of Dunaferr. Furthermore, Hungary's State Privatization Agency APV expressed that only six companies have submitted their offers for Dunaferr. However, APV did not disclose the names of the bidders. As previously reported by SteelOrbis, LNM was planning to make an offer for Dunaferr. According to latest sector reports, Donbass is also interested in Dunaferr. However, Mechel, ThyssenKrupp and Voestalpine possibly will not be interested in the privatization of Dunaferr.
