On May 18, 2001, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed antidumping duty orders on stainless steel angle from Japan, South Korea, and Spain. On April 3, 2006, the DOC initiated the sunset reviews of the antidumping duty orders on stainless steel angles from Japan, South Korea, and Spain. Since the domestic interested parties did not participate in these sunset reviews, the DOC decided to revoke these antidumping duty orders. The effective date of revocation is May 18, 2006, the fifth anniversary of the date the DOC published these antidumping duty orders.
