US DOC: Final results of AD review on pipes from Brazil
On September 28, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on certain small diameter seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line and pressure pipe (seamless pipe) from Brazil for the period August 1, 2004, through July 31, 2005. In the preliminary results dated May 26, 2006, the DOC determined that sales of the subject merchandise by V & M do Brasil S.A (VMB) were not made below normal value. The preliminary duty margin for the producer was set as 0.00 percent. Based on the subsequent comments filed by the interested parties, the DOC decided to make changes to certain currency conversion variables. However, the margin remains unchanged from the preliminary results. Accordingly, the final dumping margin existing for the period August 1, 2004, through July 31, 2005 is 0.00 percent for VMB.
