US DOC delays final AD decision on certain carbon steel pipes and tubes from Thailand

On May 22, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced its decision to postpone the deadline for its final determination in the antidumping (AD) duty review of circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Thailand.

The DOC said that the review deadline has been extended by 180 days to October 12, 2010

The period of investigation is from March 1, 2008 through February 28, 2009 and it covers one producer/exporter of the subject merchandise to the United States, Saha Thai Steel Pipe (Public) Company, Ltd.

The petitioners in the investigation are Allied Tube and Conduit Corporation and Wheatland Tube Company.
