On February 1, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping administrative review on silicomanganese imported from Brazil for the period December 1, 2004, through November 30, 2005. In the preliminary results dated May 19, 2006, the DOC determined to rescind this review based on evidence on the record indicating that there were no entries into the US of subject merchandise from Brazil during the period of review. Since the DOC did not receive any comments on the preliminary results, it decided to rescind the review with respect to subject merchandise imported from Brazil.
