On July 27, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review for certain large-diameter carbon and alloy seamless standard, line, and pressure pipe from Japan, covering the period June 1, 2005, through May 31, 2006. The review was initiated upon the request of United States Steel Corporation (USSC). Since USSC withdrew its request for a review, the DOC decided to rescind the review with respect to the subject merchandise imported from Japan.
