US DOC announces AD reviews for Mexican and Korean pipe

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Tuesday the initiation of administrative reviews of antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders with a November anniversary date. 

The DOC initiated the following administrative reviews of AD orders involving steel products:

(1)  Circular Welded Non-Alloy Steel Pipe from Mexico (A-201-805) – Lamina y Placa Comercial S.A. de C.V. and Productos Laminados de Monterrey S.A. de C.V.

(2)  Circular Welded Non-Alloy Steel Pipe from Korea (A-580-809) – Husteel Co. Ltd.; Hyundai HYSCO; and SeAH Steel Corporation.

(3)  Cut-to-Length Carbon Steel  from China (A-570-849) – Hebei Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.; Hunan Valin Xiangtan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd.; Jiangyin Xingcheng Plastic Chemical Co. Ltd.; Jiangyin Xingcheng Special Steel Works Co. Ltd.; Wuyang Iron & Steel Co. Ltd.; and Xiamen C&D Paper & Pulp Co. Ltd.

The period of review is November 1, 2013 through October 31, 2014. The DOC initiated no administrative reviews of any CVD orders involving steel products.
