According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in November of the current year Ukraine's crude steel production will increase by 0.7 percent compared to Septemberthis year to 2.6 million mt.
According to Metallurgprom's forecast, pig iron output in Ukraine will total 2.35 million mt in November, up 3.3 percent compared to September, while Ukrainian production of rolled steel is expected to be 2.34 million mt, up 2.1 percent compared to September.
In October, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.59 million mt of crude steel, 2.34 million mt of pig iron and 2.37 million mt of rolled steel.
