According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in October of the current year Ukraine's crude steel production will decline by 1.03 percent compared to August this year to 2.59 million mt.
According to Metallurgprom's forecast, pig iron output in Ukraine will total 2.34 million mt in October, up 2.7 percent compared to August, while Ukrainian production of rolled steel is expected to be 2.37 million mt, up 10.5 percent compared to August.
In September, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.64 million mt of crude steel, 2.3 million mt of pig iron and 2.37 million mt of rolled steel.
