Ukraine’s steel pipe imports and exports down slightly in Jan-Oct

According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in the January-October period of the current year Ukrainian exports of steel pipes decreased by 1.2 percent year on year to 1.352 million mt, worth a total of $1.632 billion. In October alone, steel pipe exports from Ukraine increased by 0.5 percent compared to September, rising to 123,780 mt, worth a total of $143.57 million.
 
In the January-October period of the current year, Ukrainian imports of steel pipes decreased by 1.6 percent year on year to 66,980 mt, totaling $151.42 million in value. In October alone, imports of steel pipes to Ukraine decreased by 19.1 percent month on month to 6,320 mt, worth a total of $13.85 million
