Chinese domestic seamless pipe prices have followed a mostly stable trend during the past week. Overall trading activity has been at normal levels. Upstream billet prices first declined and then rebounded, and so still provide support for seamless pipe prices. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may fluctuate by small margins.
Local Chinese welded pipe prices have softened a little during the past week amid decreases in steel strip prices. Overall trading activity has been weak. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices may resume a stable trend.
