Chinese seamless pipe prices have declined during the past week. Overall trading activity has slightly increased but still remained weak. Upstream billet prices have fluctuated with downticks which mainly lead seamless pipe prices to follow. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices will see small fluctuations.
Chinese welded pipe prices have seen some declines during past week as well. Overall trading activity has been weak. Upstream steel strip and other raw material prices have recently followed a rebounding trend which has given certain support to welded pipe prices. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices may fluctuate.
