The local Chinese steel pipe prices have continued to soften slightly during the past week.
Local Chinese seamless pipe prices have either moved sideways or down slightly during the past seven days. Overall trading activity has still been at low levels, leading most traders to slightly reduce their quoted prices in order to close more deals. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may just indicate small fluctuations.
Chinese domestic welded pipe prices have continued to follow a slight downtrend during the past week amid weak overall trading activity and downticks in prices of steel strip and other raw materials. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices may fluctuate slightly.
