In August this year, Ukraine's ferrous scrap exports saw a 109 percent increase month on month and a one percent growth year on year to 69,400 mt. The value of scrap export sales in August was up by 94 percent compared to July, increasing to $21.46 million.
In January-August this year, Ukraine's scrap exports increased by 18.7 percent year on year to 499,070 mt, valued at $162.32 million.
