Ukraine’s scrap exports rise by 40.4 percent in January-November

In the January-November period this year, Ukraine exported $7.5 billion worth of ferrous metals, down 38 percent year on year, according to the data released by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
 
In November alone, revenues from ferrous metal exports totaled $505.88 million, while in October the figure had amounted to $574.85 million.
 
Meanwhile, in January-November period of the current year, Ukraine’s imports of ferrous metals decreased by 40.1 percent to a value of $468.85 million, including $54.56 million in November.
