Ukraine’s pig iron exports drop by 55.2 percent in Oct from Sept levels

In October this year, Ukraine's pig iron exports decreased by 55.2 percent compared to September and by 44.7 percent compared to October 2009, to 67,960 mt. 37,540 mt of Ukraine's pig iron exports in October (equal to a share of 55.24 percent) were delivered to Italy, while 30,370 mt (equal to a 44.7 percent share) were shipped to Turkey

The value of Ukraine's pig iron export sales in October was down by 54.3 percent compared to September, decreasing to $27.85 million.

In January-October this year, Ukraine's pig iron exports increased by about two percent year on year to 1.207 million mt, valued at $482.5 million.
