Ukraine’s crude steel output down 16.8 percent in Jan-Nov

In the January-November period of the current year, Ukraine's crude steel output decreased by 16.8 percent to 21 million mt, its pig iron output fell 13.6 percent to 19.91 million mt and its finished steel production decreased by 17.1 percent to 18.34 million mt, all year on year, according to the data issued by Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom.
 
In the same period, the country's metallurgical coke output declined by 18 percent year on year to 10.58 million mt, while steel pipe production decreased by 40 percent year on year to 776,000 mt.
 
Meanwhile, in November alone, Ukraine produced 1.8 million mt of crude steel, 1.649 million mt of finished steel products, and 1.8 million mt of pig iron.
