Ukraine-based ZZHRK’s iron ore output up 1.4 percent in Jan-Feb

In February this year, the iron ore output of Ukraine-based Zaporizhzhia Iron Ore Plant (ZZHRK) increased by 4.7 percent month on month to 383,000 mt. In the January-February period, the company’s ore production increased by 1.4 percent year on year to 749,000 mt, SteelOrbis has learned.

In 2019, the company mined a total of 4.563 million mt of iron ore, up 0.3 percent compared to 2018. The average Fe content of the iron ore was 60.87 percent.
