Ukraine has terminated the antidumping (AD) investigation on imports of ferroalloys regardless of the country of origin and export, Ukraine's Interagency Commission on International Trade (ICIT) has announced.

Accordingly, considering the investigation's results, the ICIT has decided that the import of ferroalloys regardless of the country of origin and export is not carried out in such quantities and under such conditions which caused or threaten to cause great harm to Ukraine's producers.

The ICIT also determined that Ukraine's national interests do not require the implementation of special measures.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, the AD investigation was started upon the request of the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA) and of domestic ferroalloy producers on February 17, 2010.

The products subjected to the investigation were ferromanganese with a carbon content of more than two percent (excluding ferromanganese granules of more than 5 mm and with manganese content of more than 65 percent) and ferrosilicomanganese.
