Turkey’s seamless pipe imports up 11.66 percent in January-November

In November last year, Turkey's seamless pipe imports amounted to 23,519 metric tons, rising by 22.04 percent month and month and up 23.7 percent compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, while the value of these imports increased by five percent compared to October and 43.2 percent year on year to $24.45 million, according to the statistics provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

In the January-November period, Turkey's seamless pipe imports increased by 11.66 percent to 214,691 mt, while the value of these imports amounted to $219.6 million, up 15 percent, both year on year.
 
In the first eleven months, Turkey's seamless pipe imports from China amounted to 98,908 metric tons. China was followed by Russia and Ukraine, with respectively 39,770 metric tons and 23,262 metric tons of seamless pipe exports to Turkey in the given period.
