Turkey’s seamless pipe imports up 10.3 percent in January-October

In October this year, Turkey's seamless pipe imports amounted to 19,271 metric tons, rising by 80.1 percent compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, while the value of these imports increased by 112 percent year on year to $23.27 million, according to the statistics provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

In the January-October period, Turkey's seamless pipe imports increased by 10.3 percent to 191,169 mt, while the value of these imports amounted to $195.18 million, up 12.4 percent, both year on year.
 
In the first ten months, Turkey's seamless pipe imports from China amounted to 86,203 metric tons. China was followed by Russia and Ukraine, with respectively 35,418 metric tons and 20,726 metric tons of seamless pipe exports to Turkey in the given period.
