Turkey’s industrial production index up 10.2 percent in June

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜIK), in June this year Turkey's monthly industrial production index increased by 10.2 percent year on year, while the seasonal and calendar adjusted industrial production index declined by 2.1 percent compared to the previous month.
 
In June, the index for the manufacture of basic metals increased by 0.96 percent year on year and was down 2.28 percent over May, while the index for the manufacture of fabricated metal products rose by 15.25 percent year on year and was slightly up by 0.27 percent compared to the previous month.
