Turkish steelmaker Çemtaş Çelik Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Çemtaş) has announced that it will temporarily suspend production at its melt shop and rolling mill from October 23 to October 31 for planned crane maintenance and overhaul and planned refractory replacement in the rolling mill reheating furnace. Production at the balance bar unit will continue.

The company does not expect the temporary production shutdown to have a significant impact on overall production or sales.
