Turkey's automotive sales rise in November over October

In November this year, sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey increased by 4.94 percent year on year and were up by 31.7 percent month on month to 84,601 units, according to the statistics released by the Turkish Automotive Distributors Association (ODD). In the given month, domestic sales of passenger cars in Turkey increased by 4.53 percent year on year and were up by 30.11 percent month on month to 62,397 units, while sales of light commercial vehicles increased by 31.44 percent year on year and were up by 36.21 percent month on month to 22,204 units.
 
Meanwhile, in the January-November period this year domestic sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles increased by 30.8 percent year on year, amounting to 811,844 units. In the given period, domestic sales of passenger cars in the country increased by 28.07 percent year on year to 611,256 units, while sales of light commercial vehicles rose by 39.87 percent to 200,588 units, both on year-on-year basis.
