Turkish Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci has stated that preparations have been initiated to start antidumping (AD) duty investigations into certain major US-based companies that receive significant subsidies from the US government, thereby causing unfair competition, adding that the companies and the dumped/subsidized products in question will be announced soon, according to a report by Anadolu Agency.

Meanwhile, Mr. Zeybekci also stated that the process which has been started to impose retaliatory measures against some US products, including soy, cotton, almonds, walnuts and rice, against the Section 232 tariffs imposed by the US is continuing and that the measures against US products will continue to expand.
