Turkey imposes additional duties on certain US imports

Following US President Trump’s decision to double the duties on Turkish aluminum and steel imports, Turkey decided to impose additional duties on certain US imports.

According to Turkey’s Official Gazette, duties on certain US imports such as rice, alcoholic beverages, leaf tobacco, passenger cars and cosmetics have been doubled.

Turkey initially imposed import duty on the abovementioned products on June 18.
